MANHS Creative Arts Group, new title holder in modern dance competition

Out of five schools, MANHS Creative Arts Group, Extremex Movers, got the first place in modern dance competition on July 19, 2007 at Maria Aurora town plaza.

The other contestants are Mt. Carmel High School Dance Troop (2nd place), Ultimate Dance Seven of Ramada National High School, and Hip Hop Nation of Kadayacan National High School.

"We did our best just to bring home the title and our victory is an honor to our school" this was th statement of the group including King Alvin Grospe, Jenny Fernandez, Ivy Decano, Melvie Salmo, Junell Verial, Jayson Gatchalian, Grace Anne Maza, and choreographer Alfred Marticio.

The group received an amount of Php 6,000.00 and certificate of recognition; second place received Php 4,000.00 and the third place got Php 2,000.00.

They will represent the district of Maria Aurora in the 29th Foundation Anniversary of the province of Aurora on February 18, 2008.

Mount Carmel High School of Maria Aurora, the district's former champion ganered 3rd place in the last year's modern dance competition; but the Extremex Movers is confident that they can screw up in the incoming dance rumble and bring home the bacon.
